            Business Growth and Student Growth

Hobart Institute of Welding Technology has completed
a two year process of planning and building to position
itself to further meet the demand of welding education
                                                                         and for long term sustainability.
Adding a 16,000 sq. ft. technical center and renovating
                                           and adding 70 more welding
                                           booths to our existing building
were all done with a student first
                                           mindset. The new classrooms,
                                           labs, welding booths and,
                                           hallway layouts were to provide
                                           the absolute best welding
                                           environment to learn the skill
trade of welding and be able
                                           to focus on lectured based
                                           professional courses.
            By Scott A. Mazzulla, President
Hobart Institute of Welding Technology This growth process and
                                           transformation has been an
incredible journey and could not have been done without the entire staff at
HIWT. Our construction projects could not have been a success without a lot of hard work and commitment and support from our Board of
            Directors.
This is a direct similarity for the students of HIWT.

We see this transformation with our students every day. Each of them come in on day 1 not knowing what to expect, only that they will
learn to weld for the goal of getting a great job at the end. Their less than a year journey allows them to position themselves for long term
            growth and career sustainability.

HIWT students succeed when they are committed to hard work in the booth and classroom. They need support from their families and
coaching and guidance from their instructors. They must be focused on crafting their skill with
the end goal of getting a great job by preparing themselves in the welding booth.

Construction projects and student growth both take planning, hard work, team support and a clear
vision of the end goal. When completed, both have the proper tools for success.
